You gave your business card to someone and they sent you an email asking for more information about your company and what you sell? You have a new business opportunity, and you need it in noCRM to feed your sales process.
In noCRM, you can easily turn an email you received into a lead by forwarding it to the email address specific to your account.
Follow these steps:
Click your avatar at the top right.
Open your profile.
Go to Tools > Create a lead from an email and copy the email address specific to your account.
Forward the email to this address.
The subject of the email becomes the title of the lead, and the attachments of the email are automatically attached to the new lead. If the email is sent by a user (with the same email address as the one registered in noCRM), the lead belongs to them. Otherwise, noCRM creates an unassigned lead.
Before sending the email, add all the information you need about the sale, the future owner of the lead, etc. Use the parameters below in the email to customize your future lead before even creating it. They also work for leads created from a contact form.
The lead fields aren't filled in automatically unless you structure the information in the body of the email before sending it. You can find useful tips related to fields here.
#tags: NYC, Seminar, Product A at the top of the email creates the lead with these tags.
#step: Closing creates the lead in the Closing step, if you have defined a step with this name.
#user: [email protected] assigns the lead to the user who has this email address, if there is one.
#amount: 1000 sets the amount of the lead to 1000. The amount can only contain numbers, with no decimal or separator.
#probability: 50 sets the probability of the lead to 50%. The probability can only contain numbers, with no decimal or separator.
To create leads from an email address that isn't associated with any user of your noCRM account, you have two options:
Deactivate the anti-spam in Cold prospects > Unassigned leads.
Keep the anti-spam activated and click + New authorized email to add the address.
Once you have done this, you can create new leads from these email addresses. They always land in the unassigned leads.
