How do I activate two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Activate two-factor authentication (2FA) to add an extra security layer to your noCRM account. Once it is on, you enter a code from your phone every time you log in.

Prerequisites

• A smartphone.

• A 2-Step Verification app. If you don't have one, you can download Google Authenticator from the App Store or the Google Play Store.

How do I activate 2FA?

1. Open your user Settings.

2. Click Password & authentication.

3. Tick the two-factor authentication box.

4. Scan the QR code with your 2-Step Verification app.

5. Enter the code generated by the app in noCRM to finish the activation.

2FA is now active on your account. The next time you log in, noCRM asks for the code after your email and password.

Important: every time you log out and log in again, you have to enter the code generated by your 2-Step Verification app after entering your email and password.

How do I deactivate 2FA?

You can deactivate 2FA in the same place where you activated it.

Note: if you can't access your account because of 2FA, contact an admin of your noCRM account. They can deactivate it for you.

Steps for the admin:

1. Click your avatar at the top right.

2. Open the Admin Panel.

3. Click Users

4. Click Actions on the user's profile.

5. Click Deactivate two-factor authentication.
