# Set up a custom widget on your Dashboard

Display your own HTML content or a web page on the Dashboard.

> **Info:** **Note**: The custom widget is available with the Expert and Dream editions.

The custom Dashboard widget lets you display your own content on the Dashboard: HTML code or a web page (URL address).

## How to set up the custom widget?

Follow these steps:

1.  Click your avatar at the top right.
    
2.  Click **Admin panel**.
    
3.  Go to **Account management** > **Branding and localization** > **Dashboard widget**.
    
4.  Enable the widget.
    
5.  Set the **Widget's height**.
    
6.  In **Type of content**, choose **HTML code** or **URL address**, then add your content.
    
7.  Save your changes.
    

## What can you display with HTML code?

With **HTML code**, you can add any HTML content, including JavaScript and iframes. This can be very useful to display a link to sales documents or forms pointing to your internal information system.

## Which variables can you use?

You can insert the following variables to display information about the connected user:

-   ${firstname}: first name.
    
-   ${lastname}: last name.
    
-   ${id}: ID.
    
-   ${email}: email address.

## What can you display with a URL address?

With **URL address**, you can point to an external resource on the web, for example to include resources from your website directly in noCRM. You can use the variables in the URL.

> **Warning:** **Important**: The URL must be served under the secure HTTPS protocol.
