# What are Today's Reminders?

Know as soon as you log in which leads you need to manage today.

The lead is at the heart of our system, which aims at making sure that you never forget to manage a lead. For a [smooth sales process](https://www.nocrm.io/academy/how-to-set-up-a-consistent-sales-process), it is important for salespeople to know when to manage a lead, and what is the next action to perform on a lead.

The **Today's Reminders** section of your home page makes sure that when you log in to your account, you know straight away what leads you absolutely need to manage on that day, because you defined that you needed to act on those leads on that day (by setting the lead on **Standby**, with a [reminder for that day](https://help.nocrm.io/en/articles/103-statuses-reminders.md)).
